Meet Dr. August Mebane

Dr. August Mebane is the founder and Principal Consultant of Solutionists Advisory Group.   

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, a double Masters in HR Management and Organizational Leadership, she completed her Doctoral degree with a focus in Management: Organizational Development and Change. 

Over the last 20-plus years, Dr. Mebane has held Associate Vice President of HR, Chief Human Resources Officer, analyst, leadership, change management, and process improvement roles in several U.S. and global organizations. In addition, she has utilized her vast skill set to consult with a variety of organizations, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, higher education, business to business, and not for profit.  Dr. Mebane has also shared her expertise as a speaker to audiences of various sizes. 

The Solutionists’ philosophy is: Human resources is the heart of every organization. 

Dr. Mebane has stayed true to this viewpoint by functioning as a visionary while creating and executing strategic plans for HR and the overall leadership and management of organizations. She possesses an all-things-are-possible attitude, has a passion for making a positive impact within organizations.
